A steamy contemporary BBW love story about an older woman who runs away from her home and meets a younger man—a bad boy enforcer for a notorious motorcycle gang. Neither realize they're looking for a second chance at life—and love—until they get to know each other intimately.
What does a meek, plump housewife in sensible-heeled shoes do when stranded on a desolate highway after running away from home? She hitches a ride back to civilization with a hot biker, that’s what! And so what if she has to stay overnight in a disgusting motel room that has half a mirror on the ceiling above the only bed? A lady does not kiss and tell...
What does a meek, plump housewife wearing only sensible heels—and nothing else under a biker’s gang jacket—do after confronting her lying, cheating, soon-to-be ex-husband? Hops on the back of a dangerous motorcycle with its equally dangerous rider and leaves him, of course! And so what if they shared an intimate moment on the side of a desolate highway and she’s now tarted up like a sexy, plump biker babe. Whatever happens, a lady does not kiss and tell...
What does a semi-meek, plump biker chick—and soon-to-be-former-housewife—in sensible-heeled shoes do when confronted by her lying, cheating, soon-to-be ex-husband? Tells him she’s already replaced him with not one hot, young biker—but two! And so what if he begs her to take him back and to think of the children. It’s not like he’ll do anything drastic, right? I forgot I was a lady, I should not have kissed and told.
What does a semi-meek, plump biker chick—and soon-to-be-former-housewife—in sensible-heeled shoes do when she can’t remember the last few days of her life? Find out exactly what I've forgotten and cautiously reacquaint myself with the two hot young men who rescued—or possibly kidnapped—me from the hospital.
Hayley attempts to pick up what's left of her (love) life but is thwarted at every turn by three men:
After being dumped by her live-in boyfriend, who she had supported through college, Hayley is tricked into trying out for the local roller derby team--the Selby Slammers.
At the tryouts hilarity ensues when she leaves her mark on some of the hunky men in the inline hockey team practicing on the next rink over.
After surviving tryouts for the roller derby team the Selby Slammers—and humiliating herself in front of her new team mates and the local men's inline hockey team—Hayley holds her head high and gets ready for her first game. The Wicked B*tches of West Auckland, however, live up to their name and cause all sorts of angst and grief for the Slammers—Hayley in particular!
Hayley's first derby would be enough to make anyone quit. The Wicked B*tches totally slammed the Selby Slammers—gunning for Hayley in particular—but the Slammers kicked just as much arse and eventually went on to win! But that's nothing compared to what happened during half-time between her and Rick the Dick in the men's changing room. Had he really taken her to heaven and back or dragged her down to hell?
More hilarity ensues as life continues to throw Hayley some very hairy curveballs. From losing her job to dealing with the difficult—yet so damned hot—men who still seem to be fighting over her. Toss in three days of mandatory practice in the lead up to the Auckland Roller Derby Final. However will she cope?
